• Red Hot Mamas – New for 2005! Red Hot Mamas is a free menopause management education program to be held monthly beginning in February. The first meeting is set Monday, Feb. 28, at 5:30 p.m., in the Dr. Porter Rodgers Jr. Community Room at the hospital.

Support Groups

• Look Good…Feel Better - Free program by the American Cancer Society that teaches women how to cope with the appearance related side effects of cancer treatment. Sessions are held throughout the year. The next session will be held in April.

• New Beginnings –This surgical weight lose intervention group meets the second Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. in the Dr. Porter Rodgers Jr. Community Room.

Senior Meal Day

• Central Arkansas Hospital Senior Meal Day is held the third Tuesday, every other month, at the John E. Lightle Center in Searcy. The event starts at about 11 a.m. with a free health screening and is followed by a free lunch for all senior citizens, courtesy of Central Arkansas Hospital. The next CAH Senior Meal Day will be held Tuesday, April 19.
