New To The Area

A new Chief Financial Officer and Chief Nursing Officer have been named at Central Arkansas Hospital.

Chief Financial Officer John Everett  came to CAH from Alice Regional Hospital in Alice, Texas. He previously worked in four other Texas hospitals.

"My family and I are excited to be here. I'm looking forward to the opportunity of working with everyone here at Central Arkansas Hospital and the community," Everett said. "It's a great opportunity, not only with Triad (CAH's parent company), but with the local community as well. I'm happy to be here."

Chief Nursing Officer Shelley Tobey came to CAH from North Central Medical Center in McKinney, Texas. Prior, Tobey worked at Medical City Dallas as Director for Oncology and Marrow Transplant. She also worked at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and St. Johns Medical Center in Tulsa. Tobey also worked at Texas Oncology, a division of Physician Reliance Network in Dallas.

"I am excited to be at CAH, as there is a lot of potential for growth and professional opportunity for the facility within the community," Tobey said.

Ben Frank, Chief Executive Officer, said that he is pleased that both Everett and Tobey have joined the staff at CAH. "John Everett and Shelley Tobey both make fine additions to the staff at Central. Their commitment and compassion fit the mold for the culture of caring that has become a hallmark of this hospital."

Central Arkansas Hospital, located at 1200 S. Main, is a 193-bed facility offering a wide range of healthcare services to the residents of White County and the surrounding area. The hospital has a medical staff over 100 physicians offering over 30 specialties.
