From pre-admission to discharge, patients and families can depend on our highly skilled delivery team, anesthesiologists, OB technicians and trained nursery personnel for professional care and advanced treatments. The comfort and safety of mother and child are top priority. And our maternity nurse manager is always available to discuss any special requests or procedures new mothers may want to explore.

It's no surprise that friendly and compassionate surroundings enhance what is already a joyful experience. Our labor/delivery/recovery/postpartum (LDRP) rooms are designed to feel like home. To insure maximum care for your newborn, the maternity area at Central Arkansas Hospital includes a fully staffed newborn nursery.

Central Arkansas Hospital provides access to a nurse-midwife, a trained professional who emphasizes the natural process of birth. The nurse-midwife works in conjunction with physicians to provide safe, high quality care for women.
